Services We Provide
We provide a range of services and support to Aboriginal people and to the wider community of Lithgow and surrounding areas with a focus on caring for country and a vision to run an Indigenous Ranger Program.
Deliver culturally appropriate services and programs that are in line with traditional Aboriginal values and practices of the Wiradjuri Nation such as:
- Welcome to country and smoking ceremonies
- Wiradjuri cultural workshops – Wiradjuri language, cultural dance performances, school education sessions and cultural camps
- Tourism – Cultural tours to culturally significant places
- NAIDOC celebration for community as Mingaan Wiradjuri Aboriginal Corporation host the local community NAIDOC events
- Wiradjuri Astronomy workshops
- Cultural healing workshops
- Aboriginal cultural heritage and archaeological surveys
- Aboriginal Heritage Site Awareness Training workshops
- Aboriginal heritage conservation land management workshops such as: traditional burning and river management and provides cultural consultation for both the private and public sectors.
Our vision is to establish an Indigenous Ranger Program for the greater Lithgow area to create training and employment opportunities and contributes toward :

Bushfire Recovery
- Aboriginal Place – clean up after bushfires, removing rubbish and burnt out vehicles
- Rock Art restoration – A community volunteer project restoring rock art sites impacted by bushfires, funded by Energy Australia through Bushfire Recovery programs.
- Community recovery and well-being after bushfires and natural disasters – cleansing and smoking ceremony for residence directly impacted by bushfires
- Native Bee workshops
- Ecological workshops restoring natural bushlands
